This biomass Heater, of a 12MW power, is the energy chosen by the directive of the french government to reduce oil consumption. This industrial building located in a high density housing area in the city center of Sevran, needed to be well integrated and convey an illusion. Destructured design by using angular lines, planes defining out or inward volumes was the main idea of the conception. Timber façades, symbolizing the tree, are supported by the concrete volume that houses the machine and create a changing visual environment.
